The CUR Evolution Series is our answer to the number-one problem with umbrella rigs: storage.

While retaining the proven features of the previous generation—including our minimal-metal design, world-class castability, and premium hardware—the Evolution Series introduces virtually unbreakable folding arms. The arms collapse for compact storage without the risk of bending or breaking.

Each rig includes its own protective storage tube, designed to hold the rig fully assembled with baits attached. This allows for compact transportation, organized storage, and quick deployment the moment you hit the water.

Create the Appearance of a True Bait Ball

The CUR Double Decker Evolution Series takes the Clear Umbrella Rig to the next level by allowing anglers to present up to nine swimbaits at once.

Both models feature eight 5-inch folding outer arms, each equipped with a willow blade mounted on a premium ball-bearing swivel. Together, the eight blades produce an incredible amount of flash, vibration, and drawing power while creating the appearance of a large school of baitfish.

A longer 9-inch center-rear arm positions the target bait behind the school, giving predator fish a natural focal point to strike.

Choose between the standard Double Decker Evolution for smaller baitfish presentations or the Double Decker Evolution HD for larger, heavier swimbaits.

Double Decker Evolution

The standard Double Decker Evolution is designed for anglers who want to imitate a tightly grouped school of smaller baitfish.

The eight outer arms are rated for 1/8 oz. jigheads and are recommended for 3-inch swimbaits. The rig performs exceptionally well with 2.5- to 3.5-inch swimbaits when creating a compact and realistic bait-ball presentation.

The 9-inch center-rear arm is designed for the larger target bait. We recommend using a 1/2- to 1-ounce jighead with swimbaits up to 5 inches.

The Double Decker Evolution is equipped with a 330 lb. main swivel and weighs just under 1 ounce with all nine split rings installed.

Double Decker Evolution HD

The Double Decker Evolution HD is built for bigger baits, heavier presentations, and the largest predator fish in the lake.

Its eight reinforced outer arms are rated for 1/8- to 1/4-ounce jigheads and can accommodate swimbaits up to 6 inches. This makes the HD ideal for creating the appearance of a large school of mature baitfish.

The 9-inch center-rear arm is designed for heavier presentations. We recommend using a 1/2- to 1-ounce jighead with swimbaits up to 7 inches.

For anglers looking to imitate a true bait ball using 4- to 6-inch swimbaits, the Double Decker Evolution HD is built for the job. It is equipped with a heavy-duty 500 lb. main swivel and weighs just under 1 ounce with all nine split rings installed.
